Job Description

We are looking to grow our Fort Worth branch by adding a Crane Technician to our team. The ideal candidate should have around 5 years of experience and be able to work independently from day one. The technician will be responsible for inspecting cranes and performing preventative maintenance, with a solid mechanical and electrical background. Our cranes are mainly used in manufacturing and production-based environments.

Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and inspect overhead cranes and hoists.
  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance activities on equipment.
  • Support customers by effectively interfacing with customers and the office to repair equipment as needed.
  • Evaluate and make recommendations regarding required repairs for customers.
  • Maintain rapport with customers by examining complaints, identifying solutions, suggesting improved methods and techniques, and recommending system improvements.
  • Service overhead crane systems by performing quality installations, performing OSHA/ANSI equivalent inspections, documenting and completing warranty work, troubleshooting breakdowns, performing preventive maintenance, and responding to repair calls.
  • Document service and installation actions by completing forms, reports, and inspection checklists.
  • Build and maintain customer confidence by maintaining good response time, informing customers of problems, and completing jobs in a timely manner.
  • Maintain professional presentation, timeliness, appearance, and organization in all areas.
  • Ability to fabricate and weld structures.

Work Environment

Crane technicians will be traveling within North Texas, OK, KS, NE, and NM to service and repair cranes at various manufacturing warehouses and sites. The work environment is a mix of 50% indoor and 50% outdoor settings. Our team consists of a maximum of 10 Crane Technicians.
