About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Queensbury, NY. As an SLP in a school-based setting, you will provide therapy and support to students with speech and language disorders, helping them to overe challenges and achieve academic success. This is a wonderful opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a supportive school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose students with speech and language disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans for students.
  • Provide one-on-one and group therapy services to students.
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student growth.
  • Maintain detailed records of therapy sessions, progress, and assessments.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on student goals and progress.

Qualifications:

  • Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Active New York State SLP License.
  • Previous school-based experience preferred, but not required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with students, families, and staff.
  • Ability to create engaging therapy sessions and make a positive impact on student success.
