Job Description

Candidate will be performing a variety of activities in the warehouse including picking, packing, sorting, using a scan gun, and managing inventory. This is not a forklift job, but candidates will be driving a 'Taylor Dunn,' which is similar to a forklift but more like a cart. The location acts as an emergency order filler, so a fast-paced candidate is preferred. Responsibilities also include stocking for local dealerships and occasionally using a ladder to reach top shelves. The role is flexible and can accommodate entry-level candidates with good work history and a go-getter attitude. Summer helpers and part-time hours are also considered.

Responsibilities
  • Picking, packing, and sorting items
  • Using a scan gun for inventory management
  • Driving a 'Taylor Dunn' cart
  • Stocking shelves, including using a ladder for top shelves
  • Filling emergency orders quickly
  • Assisting with stocking for local dealerships
Essential Skills
  • Experience with general warehouse tasks such as picking, packing, and sorting
  • Ability to unload items and use a pallet jack
  • Proficiency with RF scanners
  • Experience with computers

Work Environment

The warehouse is a 100,000 square feet facility that is heat-controlled with plenty of ceiling fans, making it comfortable. It is clean and organized, with safety as the top priority. The warehouse operates with about 10 people on each shift, and the second shift runs from 1pm to 9pm with paid breaks. Some overtime may be required, but there are no weekend shifts.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Paul, Minnesota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50
