Job Title: Registered Behavior Technician
Location: Wakefield, MA
Position Type: Full-time, Onsite
Schedule: Monday - Friday
Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician to join our team for the upcoming school year in the Wakefield, MA area. This full-time position offers the opportunity to make a profound impact on the academic, social, and emotional development of our students.
Responsibilities:

  • Following and executing individualized behavior intervention plans developed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to address specific behavioral goals.
  • Monitoring and recording data on student progress and behaviors during sessions to help assess the effectiveness of interventions.
  • Working one-on-one with clients to teach new skills, reinforce positive behaviors, and manage challenging behaviors in various settings.
  • Communicating regularly with BCBAs, educators, and other professionals to share observations, discuss strategies, and contribute to the overall treatment plan.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of a 40-hour training course that covers the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), ethical guidelines, and specific skills related to the role.
  • Experience working with children and adolescents in an educational or clinical setting.
  • Pass the RBT certification exam administered by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
