Soliant is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team in Wheaton, IL for a school-based position Help students achieve their fullest potential by providing essential therapy services in a supportive and dynamic environment.
Position Details:
- Job Type: Full-time, School-Based
- Location: Wheaton, IL
- Start Date: Immediate, for the 2024-2025 school year
What Youll Do:
- Assist in implementing treatment plans created by the Occupational Therapist to address students' motor skills, sensory processing, and daily activities.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care for each student.
- Document student progress and report findings to the supervising OT.
- Participate in IEP meetings to ensure student success and goal setting.
Requirements:
- Associates Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
- Valid Illinois COTA License.
- Previous experience in a pediatric or school-based setting is a plus
- Excellent munication and teamwork skills.
- Passion for working with children and helping them thrive in an educational setting.
