Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) - Full-time near Tuckahoe, NY

Introduction: Soliant Health is currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) for a full-time position in a school district near Tuckahoe, NY. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of students in grades 6th-8th. The selected candidate will work from 7:30am to 3:00pm daily, starting as soon as possible and continuing until the end of the school year.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language therapy services to students in accordance with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' munication needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other members of the educational team to support student progress and achievement.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of therapy sessions, progress reports, and other relevant records.
  • Implement evidence-based interventions and techniques to address speech and language disorders effectively.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Certificate of Clinical petence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Valid New York State Education Department (NYSED) licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
  • Experience working with middle school-aged students preferred.
  • Must possess the Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD) certification.
