Job Description

Weld the following types of metal in both Carbon and Stainless Steel: Tube to Plate, Plate to Plate, Pipe to Plate, and General Structural Steel Components. Perform welding using GTAW, GMAW, and SAW techniques. Maintain the proper weld certifications and pressure test units. Maintain all weld equipment, read and interpret instructions and diagrams (blueprints), follow schedules, and report completions. Adhere to company policies and safety programs. Use hand-welding and flame-cutting equipment to weld or join metal components or to fill holes, indentations, or seams of fabricated metal products. Experience welding box headers from ¾” plate up to 3” plate, performing MIG and TIG roots, and sub arc welding is required. Fit-up experience is also necessary. Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of recent, consecutive experience welding CS box headers.

Work Environment

3 first shift openings - M-TH 5am-3:30pm with overtime on Fridays. Non-climate controlled manufacturing facility.
