School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP, CCC)

Location:Heflin, AL
Term: ASAP - End of School Year
Contract: Part-Time (19 hours weekly)through ProCare Therapy
Compensation: Competitive hourly pay
Caseload:K-6th

ProCare Therapy is seeking a qualified and dedicated School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP, CCC) to join our team for the 2024-2025 school year in Heflin, AL. This full-time role offers a competitive hourly wage along with a comprehensive benefits package.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments to identify students' speech and language needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals based on students' needs and IEP requirements.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students' communication development and academic success.
  • Monitor and document student progress, maintaining accurate records in compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and other multidisciplinary team meetings as required.

Requirements:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Active Alabama SLP license.
  • Experience working with school-aged children is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
