Job Description

We are looking to add a Finishing Department Associate for the 2nd shift. This role involves learning two different processes: Automatic and Wrapper. In the Automatic process, you will load finished rolls of wallpaper into automatic cutting machines, which will cut the larger rolls into smaller lengths for individual retail sale. You will also thread the machine, load paper rolls for new small rolls, and move carts to the staging area for the wrapping machine. The Wrapper process involves loading the reel onto a slitter, cutting it down into 30 ft rolls for sale at big box stores, prepping the finished product, and placing it on a pallet for shipping. Organization is key as everything is tracked by paper, and you will be required to inspect parts for quality. The job includes pushing full carts and handling boxes of rolls that weigh no more than 20 lbs.

Work Environment

- 2nd shift hours: Monday - Thursday 3PM - 1AM

- Weekend shift: Friday/Saturday/Sunday 12 hours (5AM-5PM) **Training Monday-Thursday 5AM-3PM for 2 weeks**

- Overtime is scheduled in advance

- Breaks: (2) 10 mins, (1) 20 min. Not allowed to leave during paid 20 min lunch

- Pay: $19-20/hr

- Dress code: steel-toed/composite shoes, pants, t-shirt

- Facility: Can get slightly cold or hot, not completely temperature controlled.
