Job Overview: The Plumbing Project Manager will oversee and manage all aspects of plumbing projects, from start to finish. This includes coordinating the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems for a variety of construction projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in plumbing, project management, and a strong understanding of safety and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Coordination: Manage the planning, scheduling, and execution of plumbing projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

  • Team Leadership: Supervise and provide leadership to plumbing teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.

  • Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and concerns while providing regular updates on project progress.

  • Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, track costs, and identify opportunities to reduce expenses without compromising quality.

  • Scheduling & Logistics: Coordinate with other contractors and stakeholders to ensure smooth operations, efficient scheduling, and timely delivery of materials and supplies.

  • Quality Control & Safety: Ensure all work complies with local building codes and regulations, and maintain a strong focus on safety protocols.

  • Problem Solving: Address and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the project lifecycle, ensuring minimal disruption to timelines.

  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of project milestones, change orders, and any related communications.

  • Procurement: Manage the purchasing of plumbing materials and equipment, ensuring high-quality supplies are available when needed.



Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 6 years of experience in plumbing and project management, with a track record of successfully managing large-scale plumbing projects.

  • Licensing: Must hold a valid plumbing license (or equivalent certifications).

  • Skills:

  • Strong understanding of plumbing codes and standards.

  • Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

  • Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.

  • Knowledge of construction scheduling and budgeting.
