This position will be responsible for helping to produce high-quality manufactured products used all over the world. The successful candidate will set up and operate conventional, special-purpose, CNC machines and machining centers to fabricate metallic and nonmetallic parts.
Responsibilities- Performing quality inspections on products.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished workpieces, sequence of operations, and setup requirements.
- Calculate and set controls to regulate machining factors or enter commands to retrieve, input, or edit computerized machine control media.
- Operate machines to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining and adjust machine controls as required.
- Verify conformance of finished workpieces using measuring and inspection tools.
- Set up and operate machines to verify the accuracy of machine settings or programmed control data.
- Confer with engineers, production personnel, programmers, or others to resolve machining or assembly problems.

- Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds
- Prior machining experience
- Possession of a 2-year associate's degree in either a tool and die or machining degree

Work Environment2nd Shift Hours: Monday-Thursday, 2:30pm - 1am. Dress Code: Steel-toed shoes, jeans, and a shirt.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00
