We are in need of a Senior Automation Engineer in Fort Worth, TX. This role is instrumental in our team, focusing on the provision of test automation services related to system test strategies and solutions. The role will involve planning, designing, creating and executing automated test suites for multiple applications. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.


Responsibilities:


• Planning, designing, creating, and executing automated test suites for multiple applications under supervision from team leads.

• Maintaining and evolving the master automated regression test suite.

• Setting up, maintaining, and administering tools used by the testing team.

• Participating in the entire testing project lifecycle from requirements to test executions.

• Developing plans, procedures, and programs to monitor and evaluate the accuracy and reliability of the system.

• Actively communicating testing status, including schedule risks, issues, defects, and potential impact.

• Providing engineering support for testing approach design tools on projects of peers.

• Troubleshooting issues by researching symptoms, analyzing impact, and implementing solutions.

• Collaborating with Quality Assurance analysts to plan, develop, and maintain automation regressions and performance test suites.

• Designing, writing, executing, and maintaining automated test scripts for the Bidding and Trading product group.

• Must possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Sciences or a related field
• Proficient in Java, JavaScript, and SQL programming languages
• Extensive experience in automation engineering is essential
• Familiarity with GitHub and GIT for version control
• Strong knowledge in Agile methodology and Quality Assurance
• Experience with Microsoft Azure is advantageous
• Ability to design, plan, and execute automation procedures
• Proven experience in troubleshooting and defect management
• Proficient in research analysis and specification writing
• Experience in training and supervising team members is beneficial
• Knowledge of human resources administration and planning processes is a plus
• Ability to handle laptop hardware issues is advantageous
• Familiarity with trading systems and platforms is a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and planning abilities
• Must possess a proactive approach to problem-solving
• A firm grasp of modern technology and digital platforms.
