Job DescriptionJob DescriptionMachine Builder: Rockford, IL Our customer in Rockford, Illinois is seeking motivated individuals to join their team. We’re recruiting Machine Builders to work full-time on 1st shift. As an Machine Builder, you will be responsible for the assembly of new machines, rebuilding of old machines, and modifications to either, as well as producing subassemblies.  They are seeking motivated individuals to join their team who can contribute to the overall success of the company.  Responsibilities of the Machine Builder:

• Well versed in the reading and understanding of multiple level blueprints, assembly drawings, Bills of Materials lists, and part lists to perform required service. 
• Well versed in the reading of pneumatic schematics and understanding of pneumatic applications. 
• Able to do on the floor concepts in the form of sketches, of simple brackets and small items to help complete the machine build. 
• Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies. 
• Have some knowledge related to PLC’s, HMI, VFD’s and Direct Automation. 
• Perform checkout on machines, along with installation and service of equipment at customer facilities.
• Examine machines and equipment in root cause analysis troubleshooting and performance analysis

 Machine Builder Requirements and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• 3+ years of related mechanical assembly experience
• Knowledge and experience with electrical equipment: single and three phase, 110v and 24v controls, prints and schematics
• Knowledge and experience with manufacturing equipment
• Mechanical knowledge of electrical troubleshooting, pneumatic & hydraulic repairs
• Ability to do some panel wiring and understanding of wire schematics with some supervision
• Intermediate experience and knowledge with Microsoft Office programs
• Ability to operate a mill, lathe, band saw, and small surface grinders
• Ability to alternate from one project to the other based on need. 

 Pay for Machine Builder: Starting at $20-$30/hour, depending on experience. Machine Builder Benefits:
