Job Overview:
VocoVision is seeking a full-time Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide teletherapy services to students in Indiana for the 2024-2025 school year. This remote position allows you to work from home while making a significant impact on the speech and language development of K-12 students. You will have the opportunity to work with a supportive team and access a comprehensive toolkit to enhance your teletherapy practice.

As a Virtual SLP at VocoVision, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality speech therapy services through innovative online platforms. Your role will involve collaborating with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to support students communication needs and ensure academic success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver virtual speech therapy services to K-12 students in Indiana schools via telehealth platforms.
  • Conduct thorough speech and language assessments, develop treatment plans, and create Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each student.
  • Collaborate with teachers and school staff to monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans as needed.
  • Use the virtual therapy toolkit to develop engaging and effective lessons for students with a range of speech and language needs.
  • Provide ongoing support and feedback to students, parents, and educators to ensure goals are being met.
  • Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions, assessments, progress notes, and IEP updates.

Qualifications:

  • Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Indiana SLP licensure (or eligibility for licensure).
  • ASHA certification (or eligibility).
  • Previous experience working with K-12 students preferred.
  • Comfortable using teletherapy platforms and digital tools to conduct therapy sessions.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and collaborate remotely with team members.
