Job Summary


The Bilingual Onsite Staffing Manager plays a crucial role in managing the relationship and staffing needs of one of Ascend's key clients. This role requires being proactive, organized, and detail-oriented in identifying and fulfilling staffing requirements, managing employee hours, and handling payroll. The Bilingual Onsite Staffing Manager is responsible for understanding the client's operations and ensuring that Ascend maintains a high level of service. Additionally, the Bilingual Onsite Staffing Manager is responsible for managing the operational budget. The work schedule for this position is from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Monday through Friday.


Essential Functions and Duties


  • Execute effective recruiting strategies to maintain a proactive pool of employees to meet large volume staffing needs for ASAP orders
  • Run and review internal reports including profit and loss statements and other financial information
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations and manage personnel functions at the site
  • Manage employees' shifts, breaks, and meal breaks
  • Manage the site’s on-call phone to provide 24-hour live response to employees and client
  • Facilitate new hire orientations and training with temporary employees
  • Drive Ascend Staffing and client-related policies and procedures
  • Complete weekly payroll and management of web-based timekeeping systems
  • Complete safety inspections and develop safety awareness programs
  • Maintain employee files and appropriate new hire and pre-assignment paperwork
  • Ensure compliance with the contract between the customer and Ascend Staffing


Requirements


  • Bilingual in Spanish and English
  • Recruiting or staffing experience 
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good personal computer knowledge and ability to use essential technology (databases, word processing, spreadsheets, and email) effectively and efficiently
  • Social media recruiting experience
  • Ability to learn and apply new concepts and skills
  • Self-motivated
  • Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers
