Job Description

We are seeking a skilled machinist to join our team on the 1st shift. You will be responsible for setting up and machining weldments of all sizes in a timely manner, while maintaining exceptional quality.

Responsibilities

• Set up and machine weldments per print efficiently and accurately.
• Complete necessary inspection worksheets.
• Maintain minimal re-work or scrap.
• Safely operate forklifts and overhead cranes.
• Understand basic GD&T call-outs.
• Accurately use standard machinist measuring tools.
• Set up and run 'one-off' parts to print efficiently and accurately.

• Mechanical skills
• Lathe operation
• Machine operating
• Set up experience
• Knowledge of M and G code
• 5 axis machining
• GD&T knowledge
• Ability to inspect parts with OD mics, depth mic, calipers, bore gauge
• Tooling selection and setup
• Grinding
• Programming
• Mill operation

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00
