Job Opportunity: School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Location:Waxahachie, TX

Position: School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist

Overview: We are looking for an enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our school team. This role involves providing speech and language therapy, conducting assessments, and developing individualized education programs (IEPs) for students. Experience in a school setting is preferred, but Clinical Fellows (CF) are wele to apply.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform prehensive speech and language evaluations.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEPs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student munication needs.
  • Conduct individual and group therapy sessions.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to setting educational goals for students.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as an SLP.
  • Certificate of Clinical petence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred, but not required for CF applicants.
  • Prior experience in a school setting is highly desirable.
  • Strong munication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
