Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Drill Operator with experience in machine operation within a heavy industrial setting. The ideal candidate will have mechanical aptitude and be comfortable working with metal and using a crane. This position requires the ability to read a tape measure to a 32-inch accuracy and, if possible, experience with dial calipers.

Responsibilities
  • Operate punch presses, drill presses, shear presses, and other machinery as needed.
  • Load and unload machines, ensuring the product makes it through the process.
  • Monitor machine operations and maintain clean work areas.
  • Perform housekeeping and special clean-up duties as assigned.
  • Use hand and power tools as well as overhead cranes to lift and move products.
  • Be cross-trained in multiple areas based on needs, including operating torches, forklifts, saws, and more.
Essential Skills
  • Experience in machine operation within a heavy industrial setting.
  • Ability to read a tape measure to a 32-inch accuracy.
  • Mechanical aptitude and comfort level working with metal.
  • Experience using a crane.
Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Pottsville, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00
