School Psychologist Position for 2024/2025 School Year

ProCare Therapy is actively searching for a qualified School Psychologist in Wayne, Michigan that is seeking to join one of our trusted school districts for the 2024-2025school year. Position: K-12 Psychologist Position(s), flexibility for age ranges until positions are filled
Location: Wayne, Michigan (On Site)
Duration: Full Time; 2024-2025 School Year

Job Description

  • Full-time
  • In-person
  • Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • State licensure or certification as a School Psychologist.
  • Knowledge of psychological assessment tools, intervention strategies, and special education regulations.
  • Strong understanding of child development, learning disabilities, and mental health issues affecting students.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with students, parents, teachers, and administrators.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Experience working in a school setting is preferred.
  • Commitment to cultural competence and providing equitable services to a diverse

Job Requirements

  • Master's in School Psychology isrequired
  • Must have School Psychologist Licensure in STATE
  • Must be able to pass a drug and background check

Interview Process

  • 10-15 minute screening call with a ProCare Recruiter
  • 20-30 minute virtual/in-person interview with school district
  • Offer is typically within 24 hours of virtual interview
