Temporary Pharmacy In-Charge

We are seeking a qualified Temporary Pharmacy In-Charge (PIC) to cover for maternity leave for three months at a hospital in Greensburg, PA. The facility has an average daily inpatient census of 3 and 55-60 emergency department visits per day.
Position Details:
- Dates of Coverage Needed: ASAP start, latest by October 28
- Coverage Duration: 3 months
- Weekly Hours: Minimum of 20 hours; prefer scheduling on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, with morning hours for McKesson drug delivery.
- On-Call Requirement: Possible
Required Skills:
- Proficiency with Omnicell
Licensure:
- Must hold a valid Pennsylvania pharmacy license
Responsibilities:
- Purchasing and stocking of Omnicell
- Conducting controlled substance and quality audits
- Addressing inquiries from nursing and providers while on-site
Order Entry System:
- EPIC; 24/7 remote pharmacy services available for order verification
Site Automation:
- Omnicell
Staffing:
- Sole pharmacist on-site during maternity leave
- No tech support available
Training:
- On-site training will be provided
