Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled OT to join our team in Redding CA, for a full-time position starting ASAP and extending through the end of the school year. This role will involve working with students from Kindergarten through 12th grade, providing essential occupational therapy services to enhance their learning and daily functioning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide therapeutic interventions for students with physical, sensory, and cognitive challenges.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy goals in collaboration with educators, parents, and other professionals.
- Deliver direct therapy services and monitor progress for students across all grade levels.
- Conduct evaluations and screenings to determine students' needs and the effectiveness of interventions.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to integrate therapeutic strategies into classroom activities and routines.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of therapy sessions, progress, and evaluations.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field.
- Valid Occupational Therapy license in California.
- Certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) preferred.
- Experience working with K-12th grade students is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within a school setting.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
