Job Details:

We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Tax Manager to join our dynamic finance team. This is a permanent position that will play a crucial role in managing and directing all aspects of our tax operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all tax-related activities, including compliance, planning, and research. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, where you will have the chance to make significant contributions to our company's financial strategy and operations.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage and oversee all aspects of tax compliance, including preparing and reviewing tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and S corporations.
2. Develop and implement strategic tax planning for all necessary federal and state taxes.
3. Manage members of the tax team as they prepare components of the company's US federal income tax return and state tax returns.
4. Research and resolve tax-related issues, using your expertise to minimize tax liability and risks.
5. Coordinate audits by various taxation authorities.
6. Negotiate with tax authorities over tax payment issues.
7. Advise management on the impact of new laws on tax liabilities.
8. Coordinate tax provision preparation and tax-related financial reporting.
9. Assist in financial planning and analysis.
10. Stay abreast of current developments in the tax area.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required.
3. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a tax manager or public accountant role.
4. Strong experience with tax preparation for individuals, partnerships, and S corporations.
5. Proven leadership and staff development skills.
6. Excellent research and compliance skills.
7. Proficient in tax preparation software and reporting tools.
8. Exceptional client service along with the ability to develop excellent client relationships.
9. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
10. Detail-oriented with strong analytical abilities.
11. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
12. Knowledge of tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
13. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
