We're currently seeking a diligent, detail-oriented Document Controller in Somerset, New Jersey on a part-time basis. The primary responsibilities include managing and organizing documents, performing basic administrative duties, and creating and analyzing reports using Excel. The position plays a vital role in maintaining the accuracy and efficiency of our administrative processes. Ideal candidates will demonstrate strong organizational skills, proficiency in Excel, and a meticulous attention to detail



Responsibilities:

 Organize and maintain project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports, in both digital and physical forms.

• Ensure the accuracy and version of all documents in accordance with company standards and procedures.

• Assist in retrieving and distributing documents to team members and other stakeholders.

• Use Microsoft Excel to generate and maintain spreadsheets for various purposes including tracking project expenses, making progress reports and gathering data for decisions.

• Develop standard templates for reports for consistency and efficiency.

• Manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively, while maintaining attention to detail.

• Perform basic administrative tasks including data entry and office duties.

• Maintain accuracy of customer credit records using document control skills.

• Use advanced Excel formulas to create spreadsheets for analyzing data.

• Order office supplies when needed.

 At least one year of experience in a similar role is needed.

• You need to know how to format and manage documents.

• You must be good at using Microsoft Excel, including Excel Formulas.

• You need to have experience with data entry and office tasks.

• Basic office skills are important, like ordering supplies.

• You should be familiar with office procedures.

• You need to pay attention to details and be able to do more than one thing at a time.

• Good written and spoken communication skills are important.

• You need to be able to work on your own and with a team.

• You must be able to keep information private.

• You need to be good at organizing and deciding what tasks are most important.

• You should know how to use common office tools like printers and scanners.
