Paraprofessional

Are you a dedicated Paraprofessional looking for a new and rewarding opportunity to start off the year 2025? ProCare Therapy is actively searching for a Paraprofessional to join one of our trusted school districts located in the beautiful community of Port Orchard, Washington. This position involves working directly with students in a variety of academic, behavioral, and social settings to help them achieve their educational goals.

Job Description

  • Full-time
  • M-F
  • 6.25 hours per day
  • ASAP start - June 5, 2025
  • K-8th
  • In-person position only

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • CPR/First Aid certified
  • Valid Washington State Driver's License
  • ProACT de-escalation and restraint training
  • Paraeducator Certificate Program
  • Elementary experience and Middle school experience preferred
  • Comfortable with toileting, feeding, and lifting if asked to do so
  • Experience working with disabilities and behaviors is a plus
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other educational staff
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Reliable Transportation
  • Pass a drug test and a background check

As a ProCare employee, you will be paid on a weekly basis through direct deposit. Your hourly rate will be dependent upon your experience and education.
