Job Summary:
Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team in Brasher, NY. This full-time, onsite position involves working with middle and high school students in a resource setting. The Special Education Teacher will be responsible for case management and delivering individualized instruction to students with diverse learning needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide instruction and support to middle and high school students in a resource room setting.
- Manage and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Conduct case management duties, including tracking student progress and maintaining accurate documentation.
- Collaborate with general education teachers and other support staff to ensure student success.
- Attend IEP meetings and contribute to goal setting and progress evaluation.
Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education teaching certification for New York State.
- Experience working with middle and high school students is preferred.
- Strong organizational and case management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative educational environment.
