Job Description

We are seeking skilled Industrial Painters for various levels within our paint department. The department is structured into three levels, with opportunities for advancement based on experience and skill. Level 1 ($24/hr) is entry-level, requiring approximately one year of experience in manufacturing or auto body painting. Level 2 ($27/hr) is for those with advanced skills in surface preparation and painting. Level 3 ($30/hr) is for master painters with expertise in bodywork, standard operating procedures (SOPs), spraying, and mixing. The highest level, Lead Painter, offers $33/hr. Candidates will paint and prep industrial trucks and parts, mix coatings, spray primers, apply color and clear coatings, maintain equipment, and ensure safety protocols. The work schedule is currently Monday to Thursday, 6 AM to 4:30 PM, with mandatory Fridays.

Work Environment

Manufacturing environment with 160 hourly employees working simultaneously. The facility has expanded multiple times, offering a larger workspace than it appears from outside. Team sizes vary from 6-15 people. The role involves frequent bending, stooping, squatting, climbing ladders, and working from scaffolding. Employees must be able to lift and move 40 lbs. regularly, work with arms above the head, operate protective safety equipment, and work in non-temperature-controlled environments, including temperatures above 95 degrees. Candidates must pass a spirometer test.
