Job Description:
As anOT or COTAwith ProCare Therapy, you will play an integral role in helping students develop the skills they need to succeed academically and socially. Working closely with teachers, families, and school staff, youll deliver individualized therapy plans tailored to each students unique needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate students functional, motor, and sensory needs (OT-specific).
  • Assist in the implementation of therapy plans as directed by an OT (COTA-specific).
  • Provide direct therapy services to students in one-on-one and group settings.
  • Collaborate with educators and families to create strategies that support student growth.
  • Document therapy sessions and progress to ensure compliance with IEP goals.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations to support student development.

Qualifications:

For OT Candidates:

  • Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Valid California OT license.

For COTA Candidates:

  • Associate degree in Occupational Therapy Assisting from an accredited program.
  • Valid California COTA license.

General Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a school setting is a plus, but not required.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • A passion for working with children and helping them achieve their potential.
