Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cath Lab Tech to join our team in Huntley, IL. As a Travel Cath Lab Tech, you will play a crucial role in assisting with a variety of cardiovascular procedures, including angioplasty, cardiac catheterization, and electrophysiology.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting physicians during invasive cardiac procedures
- Preparing and maintaining equipment and supplies
- Monitoring patient vital signs and administering medications
- Scrubbing and circulating during procedures
- Adhering to strict infection control guidelines
Qualifications:
- Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT(R))
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab Tech
- Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
