Job Summary:The Finance Analyst is responsible for managing the monthly financial close of General administrative cost centers (IT, HR, and Management), forecasting, and optimizing cost center spending to enhance capital allocation decisions. This role also involves leveraging financial tools and supporting team members in achieving operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the monthly financial close process for Headquarter General administrative cost centers, including journal entry preparation, accruals, and variance explanations.
  • Lead the monthly forecasting process for responsible cost centers in close alignment with IT, HR, and management teams.
  • Monitor and evaluate cost center spending effectiveness, focusing on ROI to optimize capital allocation decisions.
  • Oversee the use of Jedox, the Headquarter Finance forecasting and budgeting tool, including allocations, loading actual data, and coordinating with the Jedox IT team to resolve technical issues.
  • Support Finance team members with forecasting processes and data inputs, communicating schedules and deadlines.
  • Assist in resolving operational issues as directed.
  • Drive automation and digitalization efforts within the area of responsibility, such as automating reports through Artificial Intelligence.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience, including cost center controlling, monthly closing activities, accounting, and financial planning & analysis.
  • Proficiency in using Jedox or Hyperion.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to identify variances, trends, and anomalies in financial data.
  • Proven ability to derive insights from large datasets.
  • Excellent SAP (or other ERP) and MS Excel skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with cultural sensitivity.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of Power BI and Qlik, as well as VBA or other coding languages.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in other languages, especially German, is a plus.
