Special Education in Green Bay
Position:Special Education Teacher
Location: Green Bay, Wisconsin
Duration: Full Time; 2024-2025 School Year
Caseload:Either a 1st-3rd Grade Classroom or a 5th-7th Grade Classroom **Please tell me if you have an age/classroom preference**

Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis until the position is filled.
Responsibilities:
- Design and execute Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored for students with special needs.
- Adapt teaching methods to accommodate the diverse learning abilities of students.
- Employ various instructional techniques and technologies to facilitate engaging and effective learning experiences.
- Monitor and evaluate student progress, modifying teaching approaches as necessary.
- Partner with general education teachers, counselors, and other specialists to enhance student learning and development.
- Maintain regular communication with parents/guardians to update them on student progress and objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Special Education or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
- Valid Special Education Teaching License or eligibility for certification.
- Proven experience with students with a range of learning needs and disabilities.
- In-depth knowledge of IEP development and implementation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with assistive technology and adaptive tools.
- Understanding of behavior management techniques and positive behavior support strategies.
- Capability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment.
