Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are in search of a Sr. Accountant to join our team in Pinellas Park, Florida. In this role, you will be fundamental in establishing and executing accounting procedures in accordance with U.S. GAAP. Your responsibilities will span across managing aspects of the month-end closure process, maintaining the general ledger, and integrating future acquisitions. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity.

Responsibilities
• Implement accounting procedures and processes according to U.S. GAAP
• Oversee sections of the month-end close process while sticking to the closing schedule
• Maintain the general ledger, prepare and code journal entries accurately
• Conduct balance sheet account reconciliations and prepare supporting schedules
• Recognize revenue as per ASC 606 and implement as needed for future acquisitions
• Oversee job costs and keep WIP schedules for all projects updated
• Manage prepaids and register the monthly expense
• Capitalize fixed assets/intangibles and manage the depreciation/amortization schedules
• Prepare and file tangible personal property taxes for related assets
• Prepare lease schedules in line with ASC 842 and implement as needed for future acquisitions
• Assist with annual audits
• Handle ad-hoc projects and tasks as required by the team.• Proficient understanding of Account Reconciliation
• Mastery in Balance Sheet Reconciliation
• Demonstrated ability in performing Bank Reconciliations
• Extensive knowledge of General Ledger management
• Capability to record and manage Journal Entries
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel
• Experience with Month End Close procedures
• Familiarity with NetSuite software
• Proficient in Oracle software usage
• Practical experience with SAP software
