Position Overview:
ProCare Therapy is seeking a fill a contract job position for aSpecial Education Teacher. This is a full-time contract position with weekly pay. This candidate will manage a partial inclusion program for students with social emotional disabilities. The ideal candidate will be a compassionate educator who can create individualized learning plans, implement effective teaching strategies, and collaborate with other staff members and families to support student success.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Special Education or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
- MA License Special Education certification
- Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- DOE Certification
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.
- Create and adapt lesson plans to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Coordinate with general education teachers to support students in mainstream classes.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, providing updates on student progress and addressing any concerns.
Salary and Benefits:
- $33-$37 hourly rate. Pay range dependent on experience and school district budget.
