Job Description

This role involves setting up and machining parts to manufacture components for the Boeing 737 and commercial airlines. The parts will be made from steel and titanium (no exotics) and range in size from 1/2 inch to 72 inches.

Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate CNC machines to manufacture parts.
  • Read and interpret blueprints.
  • Use precision measuring tools and inspection equipment.
  • Work with milling and lathe machines, both CNC and manual.
  • Ensure parts meet quality standards through precise measurements and inspections.
Essential Skills
  • Experience with CNC machining.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Proficiency with precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.
  • Experience with CNC setup and operation.
  • Knowledge of manual machining techniques.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience with manual/conventional machining.
  • Familiarity with Doosan and Mori Seiki machines.

Work Environment

This position is for the 2nd shift, 3:15pm - 11:45pm. After training, the employee will consistently work ten-hour shifts. There are also opportunities to work on Saturdays for around 6 hours with a 5/6am start time. The work environment is a smaller, clean machine shop where everyone is friendly and gets along. There is lots of room for growth for employees.
