Volt is immediately hiring for Forklift Operator in Coxsackie, NY

 

As a Forklift Operator you will be:

  • Responsible for accurately and safely picking product quantities or store product in assigned locations
  • Responsible for assembling containers and maintaining supplies in an organized manner
  • Responsible for performing daily transactional tasks using a Labor Management System
  • Responsible for effectively communicating with coworkers and display teamwork in completing task assignments
  • Responsible for always maintaining inventory integrity and product safety
  • Responsible for executing tasks using hand-held RF units / scanners or voice units
  • Responsible for following all established standard operating procedures for given task areas
  • Responsible for participating in associate meetings and communicating any concerns to management

This is a Full-time Contract opportunity.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Sit Down Forklifts, Clamp Trucks, Reach Trucks, Order Pickers in warehouse experience is preferred.
  • Manual lifting to 50 lbs. capable of handling.
     
Pay Rate: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour.
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
