Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Shipper to assist with a variety of tasks across different departments. The Shipper will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility by performing various duties such as removing tape, prepping materials, packaging units, and preparing shipments.
Responsibilities- Remove all tape and prep material from units.
- Add nameplates, assembly lids, and hardware as required by order.
- Package and weigh units.
- Prepare SAP shipments.
- Prepare and package parts orders.
- Clean work/storage areas and check inventories.
- Assist in the prep/paint area.
- 8+ months of general labor experience.
- 8 months to 1 year of job tenure in previous positions.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs.
- Ability to stand for 10-12 hours a day.
- Experience in paint prep, general labor, shipping, picking, packing, and scanning.

Work EnvironmentYou will work between receiving, shipping, inventory/racking, and machine operation areas, performing different jobs as needed. Our facility is newly expanded, very clean, and includes a brand-new automated paint line system. Note that smoking is not allowed on site. You will work in a team and independently with various departments and personalities. The dress code requires steel toes, safety glasses, and shorts or pants without holes or tears. The temperature is climate-controlled but can get hot during summer months, and the noise level is moderate. The shifts are as follows: 1st shift (Monday - Friday, 6 AM - 2:30 PM) with possible overtime until 4:30-5 PM, and 2nd shift (Monday - Thursday, 3 PM - 1:30 AM) with possible overtime from 2:30 PM - 3 AM. You must be okay with 12-hour shifts and will be working overtime for the next 6 months, including 4 Saturdays per year (1st shift: 5 - 9 AM, 2nd shift: 2:30 - 7:30 PM).
