Job Overview
This company is seeking an experienced Mechanical Designer to join our full-service engineering team. In collaboration with a licensed mechanical engineer, the ideal candidate will have responsibilities for the design and modeling of mechanical and plumbing systems across a wide range of project types. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment to the meet the demands of a project schedule is imperative. The ability to coordinate mechanical and plumbing design requirements across multiple engineering disciplines is essential and requires excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. The position includes the need to participate in design reviews, including virtual meetings, providing insights and recommendations for solutions to problems. The ability to work independently as well as part of a team are essential with an attention to detail and a commitment to producing high quality work. While preference is given to candidates willing to relocate or work in a hybrid remote/on-site arrangement, solely working remote will be considered.

The candidate must meet the following requirements:

  • 10 years of experience in the design of building HVAC and plumbing systems

  • 5 years of experience with Revit MEP

  • Proficiency with Trace HVAC load modeling and calculation software

  • Proficiency with Bluebeam for document management and design collaboration

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Teams
