Job Description:
We are seeking four full-time Paraprofessionals to support K-12 students in Jerome, ID. Two of these positions will focus on special education students, while the other two will support general education classrooms. Paraprofessionals will work closely with teachers and staff to provide academic and behavioral support to students, helping them succeed in both individual and group settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers in providing instruction and support to K-12 students in either special education or general education settings.
- Provide 1:1 or small group support as needed to help students meet their academic goals.
- Help implement behavior plans and provide guidance for students' social and emotional development.
- Monitor and document student progress and report to teachers.
- Ensure a safe and supportive classroom environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (required).
- Previous experience working with K-12 students in a school setting (preferred).
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to follow teacher guidance and work as part of a team.
