Full-Time Special Education Teacher Position

Soliant is seeking a passionate Special Education Teacher for a full-time position near Darlington, SC. This role is an excellent opportunity for an educator mitted to supporting students with diverse learning needs and helping them thrive. As a Special Education Teacher, you will create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs. Youll work closely with a dedicated school team to ensure each student receives the resources, support, and guidance necessary to succeed.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute individualized education plans (IEPs) to support students with varying needs.
- Deliver direct instruction to students in individual and small group settings.
- Modify and adapt curriculum to meet students learning abilities and goals.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, school staff, and parents to foster an inclusive learning environment.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting teaching methods as needed.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to a supportive team approach for each students success.
- Provide behavioral support and encourage social-emotional growth.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Special Education (Masters preferred).
- Valid South Carolina teaching certification in Special Education (or eligibility for certification).
- Previous experience working with students with disabilities is preferred.
- Knowledge of IEP processes and documentation.
- Strong munication and collaboration skills.
- Dedication to fostering student growth academically, socially, and emotionally.
