Job Summary

Uncover an outstanding opportunity to join Compass Group USA as a Chef Manager in Cupertino, CA. This role is ideal for an ambitious professional who is passionate about both culinary and food service operations. Join us and help craft our future success

Key Responsibilities:

  • Full culinary management of food service operation, including inventory, ordering, and receiving
  • Efficiently implement P&L accountability and contract-managed service experience
  • Develop menus, control costs, and lead purchasing and inventory, focusing on local food products
  • Champion sustainability initiatives within the culinary team

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of HACCP
  • Three years of culinary management experience in contract food service, senior living, healthcare, or restaurant settings with inventory and purchasing control
  • Experience in healthcare or senior living highly preferred
  • Extensive knowledge of food and catering trends emphasizing quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation
  • Experience with exposition cooking needed
  • ServSafe certified is a plus
