Job Title: SMT Operator

Location: Oldsmar / Tampa, FL

Pay Rate: $18-21 per hour

Job Description: We are seeking a diligent SMT Operator to perform surface mount assembly of printed circuit boards.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing production lines and monitoring quality levels during production runs.
  • Setting up and verifying feeders, operating SMT screen printers, and ensuring ESD compliance.
  • Following ISO process sheets, handling materials, and loading reels and programs into machines.
  • Assisting in machine change-overs and maintaining department records.
  • Developing a thorough understanding of department processes.
  • Conducting visual inspections to ensure correct component placement and logging defects.
  • Managing non-conforming materials and communicating equipment or program issues to relevant support teams.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.

Job Type: This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 months on contract then perm.

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM- Second shift

Pay Rate: $18-21 per hour

Work Site: This is a fully on-site position located in Oldsmar (Tampa) Florida.

Work Environment: The work environment is indoors and climate-controlled, within a busy, fast-paced manufacturing setting.
