School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Contract Position

ProCare Therapy is seeking a skilled and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a contract position in a school setting. This opportunity offers the chance to make a lasting impact on students' speech and language development while working in a supportive educational environment.

Position Details:
  • Full-time/Part-time: [Specify full-time or part-time]
  • Caseload: [Number of students or grade levels]
  • Service Delivery: Direct therapy, assessments, IEP development, and collaboration with teachers and parents

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individual and group therapy services to students with speech and language disorders
  • Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine students' speech and language needs
  • Develop and implement IEPs (Individualized Education Plans) for students
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records
  • Provide direct services and interventions to support communication skills
  • Communicate with parents regarding student progress and strategies for home support
  • Participate in school meetings, such as IEP meetings, as required
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
  • ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred, or in the process of obtaining
  • Experience working in a school setting preferred, but not required
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Passion for working with children and helping them reach their communication goals
