Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Accounting Clerk in Rockwell, North Carolina. The role is in the finance industry and the workplace will be in an office setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for data entry tasks, managing filing systems, and utilizing Microsoft Office tools to perform daily tasks.

Responsibilities:
• Efficiently and accurately process data entry tasks, particularly numeric data
• Manage and maintain filing systems to ensure easy retrieval and reference of documents
• Utilize Microsoft Office tools to create and update spreadsheets, generate reports, and perform other tasks as required
• Collaborate with the accounting team to review and verify financial documents and reports
• Support the accounting department in their daily functions and assist in month-end procedures
• Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary
• Maintain accurate customer records and ensure all information is up-to-date
• Assist in processing customer credit applications as per company guidelines
• Perform other clerical duties as assigned to support the smooth running of the accounting department.• Possess strong knowledge and experience in data entry and filing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Demonstrated understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently when required.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
• Commitment to maintaining high levels of professionalism and integrity.
• Experience in an accounting or finance role would be advantageous.
