room patients
- collect vitals
- blood pressure test
- screen patients for specific questions from provider
- document health information in Electronic Medical Records (Athena)
- complete urine screens for drug testing
- assign patient specimen cup, obtain specimen, bag and label samples and prepare for shipment to laboratories
- set up injection trays for physicians
-potential for giving injections or taking blood samples
Requirements:
- medical assisting back office experience required
- experience with phlebotomy preferred not required
- ability to travel to Toms River, Neptune and Jackson locations
Work Environment:
SHIFT: 8AM – 5PM - M-F (typical hours; may have to start earlier sometimes or end later; flexibility to stay until last patient leaves)
Candidate should be open to coming in as early as 7:30AM and staying past 5 if there are still patients.

-27 S Cooks Bridge Rd #211, Jackson Township, NJ 08527
- Physician will see anywhere from 20-30 patients on a full day. Many of the patients are returning patients, so the MA will be rooming patients that have extremely quick turn around times.
-Pain management office
-Medical Assistants will be receiving a schedule for the week that determines which location they will be at for the entire day.
- Dress Code: Dress Code is dark solid scrubs and closed toe shoes
