Carpenter

Join our dynamic team at our client, a leader in the precast concrete industry. We specialize in designing and manufacturing high-quality concrete products for a wide range of construction projects. We are looking for skilled and dedicated carpenters to help us build the molds and forms necessary to create our concrete structures.

Job Responsibilities:

• Mold Tech 1

  · Basic Print reading

  · Basic shop math

  · Know proper LOTO procedures

  · Understand Quality Expectations

  · Ability to make cut sheets

  · Ability to make small mold parts

  · Ability to operate equipment

  o Table saw

  o Router

  o Panel saw

  o Miter saw

  · Ability to change blades on all saws

  · Maintain a positive attitude

  Mold Tech 2

  · Ability to select correct materials for molds

  · Ability to cut compound miters efficiently

  · Understand general mold construction

  · Ability to read standard drawings

  · Ability to mix rubber properly for molds

  · Ability to mix epoxy correctly and efficiently.

  · Can do quality check of other team members work

  · Basic understanding of how to run the CNC

  Mold Tech 3

  · Stands in for supervisor when necessary, attending necessary meetings.

  · Set up and operate all equipment without help

  · Ability to produce quality molds within or under budget

  · Ability to design complex molds

  · Ability to preform maintenance on all shop equipment

  · Ability to calculate materials required for

  o Rubber molds

  o Epoxy to coat molds

  o Hard coat for spraying molds

  o Standard material for shop use

  · Ability to print and read all drawings regardless of the complexity

  · Ability to work efficiently without supervision

  · Ability to cut complex miters

  · Ability to enter materials used or required in time clock

  · Ability to lead the entire shop and delegate work to team members
