We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapist Assistantto join our team. The COTA will work in a school setting to assess students' functional abilities and provide therapeutic interventions to support their participation in academic and social activities. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to enhancing students' independence and quality of life through personalized occupational therapy services

Job Description:

  • Collaborate with Occupational Therapists to implement therapeutic activities and interventions that enhance students functional abilities.
  • Work directly with students in individual and group settings to improve fine motor skills, sensory processing, and activities of daily living.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) to support students educational goals.
  • Provide support and training to school staff, parents, and caregivers on strategies to promote students independence and participation in school activities.

Qualifications:

  • Certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
  • Experience in a school setting preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Passion for working with children and adolescents with diverse abilities and needs.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications:

  • Associate or Bachelor level degree

Interview Process:

  • 10-15 minute screening call with a ProCare Therapy Recruiter
  • 20-30 minute Virtual Interview with the School District
  • Offer is typically within 24-48 hours of the virtual interview
