Local Longwood company are looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk/Bookkeeper who is familiar with Sage, to contribute to the financial success of our organization.
Duties:
- Process accounts payable invoices and payments accurately and in a timely manner.
- Perform data entry of financial transactions into the accounting system.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies.
- Inventory Control.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions.
- Assist with general ledger accounting tasks as needed.
- Monthly accounting reports.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Minimum 5 years’ experience in accounting.
- Proven experience as an accounts payable clerk or in a similar role
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
- Proficient in using accounting software Sage, Business Works, and MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week.
Benefits: Health insurance
Schedule: (M-TH) 8:30pm-5pm (F) 8:00am-4:30pm
