ProCare Therapy is actively searching for an experienced and dedicated Special Education Teacher to join one of our trusted school districts located in the welcoming community of Windsor Locks, CT.The ideal candidate will have a deep commitment to supporting students with disabilities and a proven track record of developing effective individualized education plans (IEPs).

Job Description
- Full time
- M-F
- 36.50 hours per week
- ASAP - June 13, 2024 (tentative date based on snow days)
- Caseload size: 12-14
- Caseload age: 14-18
- High school kiddos
- Duties: Case management and providing special services
- 1 school site to service
- District is interviewing ASAP
- More details to be discussed upon interview
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Education or higher
- Active state License
- Active state Certification
- Proficient in Case Management
- Able to develop and implement IEPs while coordinating with internal departments
- Experience working with students with multiple disabilities
- Reliable transportation
- Must be able to pass a drug test and a background check
Interview Process
- 10-15 minute screening call with a ProCare Recruiter
- 30 mins-1 hrvirtual/in-person interview with school district
- Offer is typically within 24 hours of virtual interview
As a ProCare employee, you will be paid on a weekly basis through direct deposit. Your hourly rate will be dependent upon your experience and education.
