Job Summary: The Manufacturing Technician 2 is responsible for operating and maintaining processing equipment, performing production operations, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards in a clean room environment. The role includes tasks such as setting up equipment, conducting batch records in SAP, and supporting production processes.The technician will also assist in the disposal of waste and documentation while coordinating with the team to ensure smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate processing equipment such as filter integrity testing, Watson Marlow pumps, Omnispense pumps, autoclaves, and high throughput bag lines.
  • Perform production operations, including hand filling, setting up equipment in Class 100 clean rooms, aseptic gowning, and disinfecting clean rooms.
  • Deliver products to the warehouse using a motorized pallet jack and clean equipment after production.
  • Document and communicate the status of production processes, equipment, and deviations.
  • Ensure complete and accurate batch records in SAP (eBR) and log books.
  • Follow safety procedures, label equipment properly, and resolve unsafe conditions.
  • Participate in safety and quality training, maintain cleanliness in work areas, and perform in-process assays when trained.

Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Knowledge of chemistry, mathematics, and science.
  • Experience with safe chemical handling, troubleshooting, and mechanical tasks.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in a clean room environment.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in computer skills and SAP (eBR).
