CNC Machinist (Precision Machining)

Location: Arnold MO

Pay:$1000/wk

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist with a proven track record in producing high-quality parts through precision machining techniques. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CNC operations, possess exceptional attention to detail, and exhibit expertise in lathe machining. Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate CNC machines to produce precision parts according to engineering specifications and blueprints.
  • Perform routine maintenance and adjustments on CNC machinery to ensure optimal performance and accuracy.
  • Utilize advanced machining techniques to achieve tight tolerances and exceptional surface finishes.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize machining processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Monitor and inspect the quality of machined parts throughout the production process, utilizing precision measuring instruments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues, making necessary adjustments to maintain product integrity.
  • Program CNC machines using G-code and CAM software, ensuring efficient and effective production runs.
  • Prioritize safety protocols and adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to facilitate efficient operations and minimize downtime.
  • Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment, sharing knowledge and expertise with colleagues.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or relevant vocational training is preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CNC Machinist, specializing in precision machining.
  • Proficiency in lathe machining techniques is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of CNC programming, G-code, and CAM software.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Experience with precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, etc.) to ensure accurate and high-quality production.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
