Behavior Technician/RBT

Responsibilities:
- Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Provide direct one-on-one therapy to individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD)
- Collect and record data on client progress and behavior
- Assist with the development and implementation of individualized treatment goals
- Collaborate with the BCBA and other team members to create and maintain a positive therapeutic environment
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain confidentiality of client information
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in psychology, education, or related field preferred
- If hired, you will have the option to join our free program to become a Registered Behavior Technician
- Experience working with children
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently as well as part of a team
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a background check
(Previous experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder or other developmental disabilities is a plus)
Skills:
- Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and techniques
- Familiarity with data collection methods and behavior tracking software
- Ability to implement behavior intervention strategies effectively
- Patience, empathy, and understanding when working with individuals with ASD
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think on your feet
